Luke joined FEFA having achieved outstanding results at GCSE but wanted to combine academic studies with a high quality football program.  In Luke’s second year with FEFA he realisedhis dream of playing professional football was not going to happen, he then put all his energy into his new passion of Psychology.

Luke exceeded all expectations and achieved the highest grade possible on the BTEC Sport and Exercise Science Extended Diploma – D*D*D*.  Luke naturally followed his passion further by studying Sport Psychology at Liverpool John MooresUniversity and is due to graduate in 2020.

A mature and responsible young man, Luke completed a Lifeguard qualification with FEFA, and upon completion gained employment at WavertreeAquatics Centre while he continued to study his BTEC.  He is still employed now and is self funding his way through University.  A credit to himself and his family, Luke intends to study a Masters and PhD in Psychology upon graduation.

Josh started A Level’s at a top sixth form but quickly realisedthat the style of learning and assessment wasn’t for him.  Josh wanted a rigorous academic program but also wanted to learn real world vocational skills.  Josh volunteered to video our academy football games and then used specialisedsoftware to analysethe game.  All in his own time.  Josh used this in his assignments to provide distinction level analysis.  But it has also given him skills that are used in football academies, where he is now on placement.

Josh is now at University, having secured an academic scholarship, studying Science and Football at Liverpool John MooresUniversity.  He has returned to us to do one of his placements and has sourced himself a placement at a professional academy in the analysis department.
